Inspiration taken from the song « Dazed and Confused » from Jake Holmes, popularized by Jimmy Page from the rock group Led Zeppelin. It quickly became a signature song and concert staple for much of the group’s career. Holmes insists the lyrics refer to the effects of a girl's indecision on ending a relationship.
